Getting the upper pulley done! Now!

If ya gunna do a pulley that knocks the blower boost into the 15 lb range ya better have a way to cool the blower intake charge down. Without a cooling device its likely the ECU will pull the timing back before the end of a 1/4 mile. I'm curious if Mafioso's air intake tube will help cool her off a bit? Today I ordered Mina Galleries front bumber wire mesh insert. Chris and I spoke of the 3 lb pulley but he suggested a 2 1/4 lb pulley due to not grinding down the blower snout and less heat produced. He's searching for this pulley for me. Grinding down the blowers snout and dealing with high charge cooler temps. is not exactly my cup of tea. Furthermore, he no longer sells the 3 lb upper pulley nor lower crank pulley because of incidences of cracked blower noses, hardship and cost of install, and reliability. I'm awaiting his call hoping he found a 2 1/4 lb pulley. In the meantime we discussed the STR's exhaust manifolds. Chris said they more closely resemble header collectors than exhaust manifolds and they are adequate to build power approaching 500 hp. He said headers would surely increase flow thus power, but would necessitate moving the cats further downstream.
