You've mentioned this twice now. If you're going to change cars in 2 years and are that concerned about resale maybe you're looking at the wrong car/deal and should just be leasing something else. Cars depreciate. Thus one has already dropped a lot. At least you've missing the first ower hit. Two years is a long time these days. We may all be facing some dumb new legislation and there may be an onerous operational tax on vehicles like this. That wouldn't surprise me at all. Then the resale ain't so rosey.

I'm involved in the same exercise but I'm shooting for the low 20's in price. If you move down to an 05 or 06 I think it can be done. Maybe not 9K miles but 15-20K. No warranty at that price though. I also plan on keeping the car for a while.

Life is uncertain. Enjoy it now.

Default Some photos of a two-tone with aluminum trim

Since we're talking about the rare metail trim option I thought some of you might like to see some shots of a car with this trim.
The original shots I took have lots of detail in them that doesn't show up in these small photos. The 97K limit on upload sizes is rather limiting.
The light leather inserts ans has a stippled look something like Ostrich skin and the aluminum is sort of knurled. It's a very nice comination but the metal does scratch easily.

Is there some way to get better bigger photos on here?

I've never seen this metal trim on any STR before. I like it I am too in the market for an STR but want to keep the price under $30K and the miles under 30,000. Theres only so many STR's around that I feel like I'm gonna have to settle with whatever color/trim is available with the miles I want cause there just isn't that many to choose from

I pulled back a deposit on an 03 STR black with the silver seat trim and navigation. A day later I laid a deposit on my present 03 silver STR. She had 110k with blemishes inside and out. Poor thing was abused. They wanted $12,900. I got em down to 11,900. I felt bad for the car but happy with my decision.

You can't really see the details in the metal trim and light colored leather.

I see, then you will have to upload the pics with an external server not via this forum's "manage attachments" facility

You can use 640 x 480 though via this forum's server . If you like something bigger then phobucket , imageshack servers should be your way . Hope this helps
