Default Got in and drove it.

Drove to some friends and had a lovely lunch.
Drove home again.
Overtook a few slowbies, like you do, otherwise there is no point in having a V8.
A most agreeable day.

Even the slower V-6 will handle the "slowbies: just fine. I find that mine wants to cruise at 95+ on our 80 MPH Montana freeways, thus I find use of the cruise control necessary as giving the Jag its head would lead to a conversation with a state trooper, no doubt!

I have read that the performance differential between the 3 litre V6 and the V8 is actually quite minor.
I had the 2.5 litre X Type Estate previously and I have to say that getting out of that and getting in to this Jag is like stepping off a scooter and stepping on to a Hayabusa.
Poles apart.

MPG fairly similar. Performance is quite a bit different!
