Default GPS in dash installation on S type

hey guys i'm new here on this site and im very exited about it,what up?
I have a 04 S type no gps on it but i recently got one from a friend and i'm having problems with the install ,i don't know how to install it but i have visited all the audio shops around and they tould me it can not be installed because they can't find a "harness" for it and jaguar runs optic fiber from the amplifier to the speakers so they have to wire all the system again about "$800 dls to do that"
..don't know nothing about installing stereos and stuff like that so i kinda need help from anybody with tips of what to do to install this gps. i'm in sioux falls it's a small town and they seam afraid to work on jags......anybody? pleeeeeease.

i would search ebay for parts....i think you will need a dvd player, gps antenna, cables, a navi climate control module.

all in all it will cost alot!

GO buy a garmin for $100 works great and is a better gps.

LOL.... My translation of the original post is that it is an aftermarket unit that is being installed, not the factory unit.... Then again, maybe I'm the one that can't translate it...

There seems to be some confusion here , prob. on my part....

Are you trying to install the factory navi GPS or aftermarket GPS?
