My 07 s-type has produced a annoying error.
I have the little satellite error symbol on my screen telling me I have no signal reaching the head unit.
any quick ideas to try before pulling the car apart.
if it’s there I like it to work although is now very dated
cheers Mike

The GPS antenna is in the rear parcel shelf this is connected directly to the navigation control unit, that is the DVD player in the boot/rtrunk.
It is not connected to the head unit.
The DVD player also controls the touch screen, it sends the video and audio to the head unit, not the gps signal.
So the first place to look is in the boot/trunk under the rear parcel shelf to see if something has damaged the wires etc. from there to the DVD unit.
