No, not at all the springs will still be under pressure.

no play. The springs lower the car, but are about the same height as the stock ones.

The reason I'm asking is I did a suspension kit on one of my cars where it wasn't quite tight enough due to lowering the ride an inch as well as stiffening the spring and when I went over speed bumps or had one side of the car run over a higher portion of the road you would get some suspension noise as the springs unloaded and moved around a bit. It didn't hurt anything under normal conditions but it sounded funny. If yours are nice and tight then it must be something else.
