Halogen to LED?

The reflectors are wrong to maximize/focus the increased light output and the heat-sinks on the backs of most LED units require leaving the back covers off of the housings, leaving them open to the environment...

is that brightness legal in NSW? Can you turn them on without the headlight?

These LEDs are legal in NSW. Only turn on with high beam. The contrast with the standard (yellow) lights is always impressive. I remember changing incandesent sealed beams for Halogens back in the 70s and being impressed by the then New tech...

Default Led lights

TJM about 5 years ago. Top 3 bolt to lower 3 and lower to base of intake. I checked underneath for wires , pipes etc.... then in went 2 inch roofing screws.. dont tell anyone. Then the usual wired into HB wire for relay power. The grill bars give a interesting light / shadow effect to the road but only detract about 5% of light. At least I can see where im going....
