headlight recalibration

I believe if you only disconnect one headlight at a time then you don't have to recalibrate but, if you were to disconnect both at the same time then you will have to recalibrate. I could be wrong but, I do remember reading that somewhere on this forum.

I almost guarantee you will need to visit the dealer.
On my 2005 STR I hit a deer and took out the driver’s side headlight (Pictures were posted to this list if you are interested)

The shop claimed they were experts and could do it all! After 3 days of fighting it they took it to a dealer. Been fixed ever since.
I am sure you know but the STR uses a special HID light and has a black surround on the inside. All other HID's will be chrome inside. I had a hard time finding one because the insurance wanted the shop to use used parts first and then new if the used parts could not be found.
