Heating issue
Hi all,
My wonderful 54 plate S Type Jaguar 2.7 Diesel Automatic is having a slight issue. I use the A/C whilst driving it and also have the Dual and Auto buttons selected. Obviously depending on the type of weather for that day will depend on the heating setting, What I do find is that no matter what temperature I select the drivers side vents blow hot air and the passenger side will blow colder air. I don't know if this is something I can sort or if it is a job for a garage.
Appreciate any help or advice.
Kind regards,
Wullie

Here you go. I've put that hour's worth of reading into a single thread.

Specifically, see post #2 to test your DCCV. If your DCCV has failed, see that same post for a link with tips on replacement.
Also, drive the commanded temperature down until LO is displayed. This is manual mode and bypasses many (but not all) of the sensor inputs. See if the duct temperatures are the same now. Then select manual HI and repeat. Details are in post #3 at the link above.
