Default Hello all - Fuel Gauge issue

Hi all

I have an issue on my 2001 Jaguar S-Type A/T - My fuel Gauge does not display the right amount of fuel - The car had a new fuel pump put in etc. Prior to this - also it was standing for some time, now its with me i made it new again, BUT my fuel gauge shows incorrect.

Can it be the fuel sender sticky ? How to access it or clean it ???

Please Help

The fuel pump work wasn't done right - the sensors are in the tank with the pumps.

Thank you - But don't you think it could be the sender unit ?

It's in the tank right where the work was done so it is unrealistic to imagine that it was not affected by the work.

There are 2 sending units that BOTH send info to the INST PK.

The pumps also must be ORIENTED correctly for the floats to clear properly.

There are arrows to line up for EACH pump/sending unit in relation to the tank flanges.
