Default Help!

I keep getting these 4 codes popping on my 05 S-type 3.0 every time I use my code read and I have tried to fix every little problem that may seem to be associated with them. The codes are p0395 (cylinder 5 misfire) not to long ago I replaced all my ignition coils and spark plugs *** regular maintenance and the fuel injector was not good so i changed it and went ahead and changed all the o-rings to the other injectors to be sure there is no leak , still no luck. P1313 I'm guessing is being caused by the supposed misfire. P1316 injector circuit/I'm codes. And p1646 auxiliary input /output. I have changed the upper air valves at the rear of the intake manifold and both the pig tail connections to both of them. The car does not idle bad when I first crank it once the car stops moving and I make a stop some where, when I feel the motor have a slight share to it. So I'm almost out of ideas as on what it could be I have read other forums about what it may be but I would like some more insight on my specific little problems. Im trying not to give up on it

Have you replaced the two Intake Manifold Tuner Valve O-rings that are on these 3.0 engines? If not, that should be your next step. The original factory IMT O-rings are yellow in color and are prone to break down and leak, causing misfires and rough running. The new-and-improved IMT O-rings are green in color, are thicker and just plain better, and fix these misfire problems immediately upon installation. I believe these IMT O-rings are still a dealer-only item but they are relatively cheap and are a must-do for any 3.0 engine that has not already had this done. The Jaguar part number for the IMT O-ring is C2S40669. You will need two of them....

I replaced them in my 2005 S-Type 3.0 in January 2010 and have not had a misfire code thrown since....

Where did you look up the code meanings? You might like to use the Jaguar info that's a free download.

P1646 is a bad O2 sensor (or possibly its wiring etc).

Did you really mean P0395?

It won't be "supposedly" a misfire. It's definite. And you are starting to damage at least one of the cat convs.

I forget to mention that I have also replaced the manifold gaskets and plenum gaskets and the o-rings you mentioned

I have code scanner my self and when I clear them the first code to pop up is the auxiliary input/output. I had a mechanic look at it and the ignition coil is firing, the spark plug is working the only thing that was bad was the fuel injector which I replaced. And the cars was running fine until the aux in/out surfaced so from what I've done in repairs to the car it has to be something with that causing the engine to misfire

It is NOT aux in/out. I just told you what it actually is. You have the wrong meanings. Use the Jaguar ones.
