Hello,

I have an s-type (2005) with an 2,7d engine.

The motor stops while driving!
And not it won't start anymore while staring the enginge with the starter the railpressure is on 280bar that must be OK to start.
OBD trouble codes are empty !!!
Engine Belt is OK!

Any idee what can i test now?
How do i see if the engine is damagde?
Any one a plan of the ralais (electic problem???)

On a petrol I'd suspect CKP sensor (see below).

With the IDS it shows the engine rpm but i didn't know how he checks that
