Default Help - won't start among other issues

Hey, 2000 jaguar s type 3.0 will I was driving my radio light (screen) started blinking and went off, didn't understand why so put the car on neutral turn off engine while turn it back on it wouldn't turn back on like it was getting any power my headlights went off, since I was already on the side the road I got out and open the trunk when I open the trunk there're smoke coming out the hood, you used a flash light it looked like the was a liquid splashed engine compartment... When looked really closed and touched the liquid it looked like anti freeze liquid, the way it was dripping I looked like was dripping on or from the the alternator head around the belt in front you can see it dripping....
My question is what caused that???

Well I asked for somebody to boost me the car started but no lights in the car outside of the car or inside, Iwas able to drive it fir a short distance like 3 -5 where I parked the car over the night ...
Later the next day I got a boost the car wouldn't start, while to boost the relay 15 in fuse box in the hood making noise ticking I remove it and polut it back it stopped the car still didn't start.
Now I keep trying to boost it the lights inside comes on and the headlights sometime sometime not every time go ahead turn on the egnition the headlights goes off and the inside lights dims really low the ignition don't even make a sound it goes click that's it while all the gears on dashboard leaning towards the right...
. Please I need some help what u think that is??? I'm thinking it's battery and fuse or relay...
Please I heard this forum got the best answers please help me thank you

Sounds to me like coolant blew all over the alternator and fried the electronics right there. You'll probably have to have it towed in and have the battery, cables and alternator repaired.

The salt does wonders on car electronics and I bet that yours is totally burned up at the alternator connection.
