HID Bulbs:
What brand HID bulbs do you guys recommend? I think mine are starting to fade. Can't really see a thing at night unless my high beams are on. I like the 6000k color. But not sure I wanna spend the money at a Jag dealer on OEM bulbs. With that being said I also do not want to buy cheap china crap off ebay!

I don't think Philips and Sylvania are the same, because the originals were Philips, made in Germany. The Sylvania bulbs are described as "Philips compatible", and "made in Germany or Hungary".
In general, Philips seems to be regarded as relatively high-end, but I have been very happy with the new bulbs. Huge improvement, and I replaced both HID bulbs because although only 1 Phillips had gone, the other was quite weak.
The new bulbs were an exact color match with the old OEM bulbs, and also with the high-beam lights, just what I wanted. I've examined the old bulb (still have it) and the new boxes carefully, but don't see any mention of color temp.

Anyone ever hear of or use this company? www.philipsxenon.com
They have bulbs in 4300k or 6000k for $40 each with free shipping! So $80 shipped seems like a good price to me. Unless this is a BS company and they aren't really Philips bulbs....
