Doesn't get warm. Or no current flow. Etc.

Don't worry my tranny seams to be holding just fine so far. I have been working out of town a lot and not had much time to drive the car (or post) but still have gone through a better part of three 10lb bottles so far. I am only running a 50shot pre blower now since I havent had time to direct port it and I am not sure I will in any case. With a 50 (i started with the 35) I am not to worried about even distribution. The 50 between the intercooling effect on the blower and compression of the blower is making 70hp at the wheels.

I set it up with a drive by wire wot switch, rpm window switch to turn it off 500rpm before shift points and to keep me from spraying below 2800, arm switch. I am not spraying 1st mainly for traction issues but spray it on a button in the other gears so I have control of it being off or on if the other sensor conditions are right.

The only issue I have had is the other day when it was apparently a bit to cool as were the tires and I hit traction control and got a small nitrous back fire through the exhaust. I am not sure if TC cuts fuel or timing or both but apparently the rpms didn't drop out of the window and the TPS voltage didn't move. Timing isn't an issue but fuel would be bad. It didn't hurt anything and was just a small pop but I have to sort this out for sure.

In answer to your question--"how do I know if the pump is bad"? First thing is to check fuse on the I/C pump. My XKR went into RP when the supercharger was under load---like running interstate speeds up a mountain would put me into RP. You'll also notice that the I/C is very hot versus being just a little warm to the touch. The XKR I/C pump runs when the ignition's turned on but the engine isn't running. You can also hear the pump running when the ignition is on. Other than that the XKR wouldn't go into RP when driving around with a normal load on the supercharger and the pump was crapped out. I replaced the OEM pump (Hella) with the Bosch mentioned in the earlier thread.

The STR one also works at ign on (elec guide shows it, well worth a look). Can't hear mine.

Lots happens with ign on. Flat battery is one if you leave it for long LOL

Be carefull as the last resort to stop spinning wheel(s) engine power is reduced by cutting fuel.

That is what I was affraid of. I may do a separate fuel system for the spray or a fuel pressure sensor safety switch. Thanks for the information.
