Yes bluetooth is vital, and I took a look at the parrot systems.
they seem to be pretty awesome; but I need to keep the dash looking as slick as
possible, so no extra things hanging around. Im willing to do trade in the car to build
the stype of my dreams, and i actually wanted to paint it silver. I got a
quote for 3500, so that was a no-go. so trading for a non nav stype would
kill two birds. After alot of research, this screen I found has everything I
could want and much more. Android OS has pretty much the best nav I've ever used,
so having it in a car is a no brainer. I can't wait to get back home from this deployment!

This is a simple fix, buy a non nav. climate control. Take the connector off the remote climate control that feeds your navigation, put it on the non-nav control run 3 sets of RC cables to the trunk. put in 1-4 channel amp to feed your door speakers, and 1-2 channel amp to feed your Sub. Get the speaker wiring diagram for your car connect the 4 channel amp to those wires. By the way you won't need any for the factory stuff in the trunk, so take it out. You definitely don't need to get another car.

Damn it
I Definitely should have sold it before I left. I just got back from this deployment
and apparently tx had a couple hailstorms while i was gone, everything is pretty much dented up, if you see it from the right angle. and then I go to
change out a tire and see the most disheartening ****, a family of mice had moved into my trunk!!!!..i cant even look at this car the same anymore.
luckily i had insurance
and they gave me 6,000 for the damage. And now all four actuators in the
doors, refuse to work, I hear the whirring but it doesn't engage the actual lock.
if i get the hail damage fixed, I doubt if it can ever reclaim its former glory.
I don't know whether to fix it or just try to sell as is and get something else.

Not helpful to the op who has a CD head unit but my car has a cassette which is much easier to get music from your phone onto.
I just bought one of those cassette adapter thingies which just plugs into the headphone socket on my phone and goes into the cassette slot. Sounds great and cost me a couple of quid.
