Default How to replace passenger side sway bar bushing

Hi all,

I've replaced the driver side sway bar bushing, but can't seem to get to one of the passenger side bolts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The clunk seems better, but I think it's only half fixed. Go figure.

bend the heater control valve and its bracket up with with a pry bar.you dont need much to get a short wobbler extension and 13mm socket in there. take out the bolts. change the bushing and reinstall. then bend tha bracket back down in place. it harder on a v8 than a v6 cause theres not as much room

So do I disconnect the heater control valve from that mount first or just bend the whole thing.

you just bend the whole thing up slightly, dont have to disconnect anything
what year do you have anyway?

Yep. the driver side split on the flat side and the new ones split on the side. Man, I hope this fixes the problem. I hate that clunky sound.

you'd be surprised what those little bushings absorb... check back in when you're thru.

at least that noise yes, the easy diag for sway bar bushings is...while slowly driving make the car rock side to side with the steering wheel. if it knocks its the sway bar bushings...
