Hunting While Cruising
Wife's 03 s type base model had a blowout on the rear driver... and after jacking it up, mounting the donut, and driving a little it is hunting at 35 miles per hour. Also shifts very hard down to first. Do I need to reset the inertia switch or, like the mechanic at Firestone said, do a transmission flush? Getting rear tires on as we speak...

There are laws regarding HUNTING from a motor vehicle in Texas. Some are illegal in certain places, I don't know about other States or Countries. (check with your local Game Warden)
You might need to disable TRACTION CONTROL or ASC if the wheel speeds are different from the wheel diameter of the replacement wheel.
I had a customer that did a ROTATE and BALANCE on a Jaguar XKR and the wheel/tire sizes were different causing the TRACTION CONTROL to think the rear wheels were turning faster than the fronts. The system intervened with throttle and braking to slow the rear wheels down.
Putting the larger wheels back on the rear returned the car to NORMAL.

When hunting after dark, watch out for guys on the road going after possum. Apparently possum is quite the delicacy in parts of Texas. These connoisseurs usually work in pairs. Technically it only takes one guy to eat the possum but the second guy is there to watch for cars.

Here's the deal
Also, check the voltage at the battery. You need to read at least 12.6v to make sure your hunting spotlight operates properly:

This is what I have so far:
When using Manual shifting, 4th gear is perfect for cruising at 35 (the main limit here). In 5th, the revs are too low [I think] and it hunts, but just a small amount. I have not tested it completely, as I hope to have a few things done first, but it has a couple issues.
