guys, I'm out in CA and I'm willing to get my car tuned if I can find someone that can do the tune to my specs. I'm going to get the steigmeier snakebite done to the blower. I am also going to install an alcohol injection kit (just got it today). The car has magnaflows and a filter.

I'd like to lean it out on the top end to about 11.75 afr. I'd also like to add a slight amount of timing while in boost similar to a race gas tune(the alky injection is like running race gas). I'd also like the short shifting addressed and I'd like to see if they can leave the A/C on at full throttle (I may add a killer chiller some day).

Let me know what the outcome is on the CA shops. One of those is less than 2 miles from my work (the one in Santa Ana) and the other one in Santa Rosa is only an hour and half away.

qwiktz... A friend of mine runs a shop specializing in "customs" and general tech, if he can't help, he may be able to point you to someone in the area. Tell him that Jerry from Washington sent you his way.

Yep, def a dead end. Eurotek advertises their stage 1 using another companies dyno score card or projections. He even went as far as saying he performs the ECU tunes for EuroToys ECU tune. Mike of EuroToys negated this claim. I met with the owner (Phil) and asked him if he had dyno sheets confirming his pulley and ECU tune. He said he may have them somewhere? He has them nowhere.

I hit a dead end as well. I cant get into the PCM or TCM to copy the stratagy tables.

And Ive been going back and forth with ProTune, and SCT and a buddy that deconstructs code.

I'd really like to know what Mina, and EuroToys is tunning the PCM's with.

My Tunner is willing to construct the software but..... We would need a fairly steep commitment.

It would be $800 a car x10 cars. Alot of coding time is needed so thats why so pricey. but on the good side it would be a dynojet tune. and lifetime re-tunes.

Question

[quote=bfsgross;207963] I was on the telly with John of Broadway Performance, Passaic, NJ (check his website). He said he pulleyed and tuned STR's through the OBDll port. He does a pre and post dyno run to prove gains. His dyno will be in action in three weeks. In the meantime he uses a dyno five miles from his shop. He sounded motivated so I informed him that if what he says comes true at an affordable price I have a lot of duded waiting in line for the same.

I'll let yas know what I dig up on this. I may visit his shop which is about 45 minutes from my office.

I just read the whole thread. Do you have any Updates on this??

There is a dyno-tuner in Long Island, NY who tunes everything including Jaguar. ChrisSTR has been in touch with him and will keep us posted. Forget about Eurotek.

You could follow up on what avos said. Edit the maps and use IDS (or WDS etc) or that site ending .nl and maybe they have an outlet in US
