Default IAT

Can anyone tell me where to find my IAT sensor circuit? The code says I have a open circuit condition, poor electrical connection or failed IAT sensor.

I really really don't want to pay someone to fix this for me. I've looked around but couldn't find any info on it.

Thank you in advance guys.

I think I should also add that this is my wife's car and she allowed the coolant to get low enough the low coolant light came on. I'm not sure if that could have anything to do with it but after reading it looks like it might.

Look on the very top of the intake runner (rear runner, on top) Black little plastic sticking out, right next to the vacuum line for the brake i think.

I have one if interested.

Ok, I replaced the sensor. Does anyone know how to reset the check engine light?

If you go to any local autoparts store (i.e. Advanced Auto, Discount Auto) if you give them your drivers license, they will let you borrow their code reader to erase your codes... just turn you key to the on position, but don't start the engine, plug it in, look for the code, and erase it.. good luck

On a side note, since you own a Jag you may want to look into investing in a code reader of your own.. trust me your going to need it..
