Default Ids codes

I have been trying to use Sdd ids v 125.03 to read the codes on my car.

It recognises the vin number in sdd and tells me to use ids. Which I then start

I get this "do you wish to read vehicle configuration" to which I press yes.

After a few seconds a box comes on the screen saying " the module has denied secured access (11) engine control module.

When I try reenter I get code 12 with the same sentence.

When I excite this feature. I get "upload failed "0" entry.

I have tried to reinstall the program.

I have then tried to download any codes from the car but this does not work.

I am using a mongoose.

I need to check the abs because it sometimes comes up with a failure.

I have also looked in the ids manuals that Gus sent me the links for to see if they had these codes and how to sort it out but no luck there

Are you using a legit mongoose or a clone?

What happens if you say no instead of yes?

I get the answer failed to upload (0)
I can then get the information about my car from the program data bank.

I then tried to download the codes from the car, hour glass symbol for two hours.

I then gave up.

Sounds like a bad clone.

Bad clone is very likely.

Bad software installation is also a possibility.

When I went to get the exhaust gas test done. The tester spent nearly 2 hours to find a device to work on my car. In the end they had to use obd reader from lorries.

Is this a problem with the 2003 cars.

No, they're standard OBD. Even the cheap elm327 works well.

That may mean your car has some weird fault, though.

I'd get an elm327 and see.

Just ordered one
Is there a program that you would recommend to use with this device?

After many attempts I managed to check the car with the elm327. I just had to find a program that worked with my car. Easyobdii it read that three is one code from the engine but couldn't tell what.

I am now installing another version of d
Sdd to see if that is the problem

I have finally managed to read the codes. I went to british forum and asked there. I was told to use v1.30 and to set the date to 8/8/2012. It worked perfectly then

Thank you all for your help.
