Ignition coil B primary circuit malfunction ?
Ignition coil B primary circuit malfunction
First of all am I correct in assuming that 'B' is cylinder 2?
Am I also correct in saying that the cylinder orientation is,
Front of car
2 1
4 3
6 5
Rear of car
I've replaced all of the coils and plugs but the fault is still there.
If I clear the code and restart the engine, within seconds it goes straight back into 'restricted performance' mode.
My next step is to carry out the following,
1) coil plug output measurements?
2) continuity test to check for break in wires?
3) injector function?
4) compression problem on that cylinder?...will need a gauge to check
Any input or advice would be very much appreciated.

Sorry, it was a P0320 code.
I assumed that it was a coil at fault so decided to change them and the sparkplugs in anycase. Fault was still there though so did a continuity test on the 4 coil wires and hey presto, there was a break in the yellow/green wire.
I've still got an intermittent rough idle when first started with the car which only seems to happen every 3 or 4 weeks so need to investigate that, it started 3 or 4 months ago. Could that be one of the oxygen sensors about to pack in? All vacuum pipes are fine and I would expect the fault always to be there if there was a leak.
