Once you reinstall the coil(s) to the camshaft cover, torque the bolts to 5 Nm, DO NOT over tighten the bolts.

Yes only repair is a new cover (Maybe find a good used one?) or try to glue the metal insert back into the cover. Some have had success with that. If you attempt the glue repair I would run the threads in the insert first with a tap and then use anti-seize on the bolt threads. Even if the glue holds these are VERY tender connections at best.
Heed NBCats words on torque!

Just thinking out loud, but how critical is that bolt? I’d certainly try to reinstall the insert first. But if not successful, what if you just omitted that bolt? IIRC, the coil is a snug fit and it seems to somewhat lock itself in place before even installing the bolt. It’s not like the coil will come flying out without that bolt.
I suppose you could try it and see what happens. Maybe check on it periodically. Even if it were to work loose, I doubt it would do so immediately. You could reseat the coil and still get home where you could do a proper repair. It wouldn’t leave you stranded.
Just a thought, from a man following his personal motto as seen in my signature.
