Why don't you introduce yourself chap? Otherwise, if you want an already potent 400 bhp STR to go and sound like a mother: Mina Galleries intake ($135) leading to a Caldoofy intake tube ($200), Mina Galleries' 1.5 lb. pulley ($175), Magnaflow's hi-flow cats (2 for $160) and Tru-X center muffler ($90), dumping into stock or aftermarket mufflers (2 for $180). An ETG or Paramount Performance ECU tune ($995) will eliminate flat spots and raise the redline rpm. All should net 60+ bhp.

Hey bfgross, what kind of work is involved swapping the center resonator with the tru X? a little welding? and do you need to buy 2.5 pipe to go the rest of the way back or you use the stock pipe all the way to the boxes?

Because if it's just "swapping" for instance it should be a fairly cheap install as opposed to running pipe from cats back

An extra 1500 pounds it will slow down due to the added weight. Doesn't sound like good strategy to me (?)

jsupstarz, just some cutting then welding. Use a 2.25" inlet/outlet Tru-X muffler, and maintain all the stock piping. Dynomax VT mufflers are awesome in there is no cabin drone, modest sound but with big flow.
