I still dont have the ******* SC off. but once i do i figure i will replace tevery possible thing that I can thats a maintinence or problematic item, especially that I have 92 K now . So one thing is that hose ive heard so much about. I figure since this is such a huge project im doing all I can now and be done(hopefully).. new belts, new VC gaskets and spark plug well gaskets..so on and so forth.

can anyone verify this is the correct part for that evil hose.. someone told me this was a 50 buck part so I want to make sure.. Thanks!!

 

Yes and I am amazed that it's an aftermarket hose. There can't be that many STR's out there? So little aftemarket anything for the STR.

Is that the hose that costs over $1000 to fit?

There's something that bothers me about spending over $1000 to fit a hose that cost $14.70 - I wonder if they have a "premium" version reinforced with Kevlar braiding for, say, $30?

Think I would prefer to spend $50 and get the Jag version, if that really is the famous under-S/C coolant hose.
