Anybody know where to find an interface for my 2005 S type? No navigation or cd changer. I am having a tough time finding anything custom for the brand. Only the ususal FM converter types. ;p

 

Are you asking a way to listen to ipod through your car? Get a casette converter, it is a cassette you pop into your stereo and has a cord that goes into your ipod jack where the headphones go. works like a charm.

 

I looked for similar for my 2005 S Type and since it is a CD version all I can find are the FM tuner addons to the ipod. I have not bothered with one since if you go to Amazon you get very mixed reviews as to how reliable they are.

If you have a cassette, the Belkin cassette adaptor is OK, but you need to put Sound Check on to help control the volume. Or else one track will be very quiet and the next will blast out.

I have the single CD player and no cassette. I'm betting that there is a port for a disc changer, because the face plate has controls for a multi-disc unit. Somebody has to make a device to plug in-place of that CD changer. I had a Explorer and was able to obtain such a device, but that mfg did not have an application for a Jag...

Last time I talked to the dealer about it, they stated that it is the same part for all of them. The model year is the main thing. I think it only fits 03 and up S types.
