Default Issues with my new Jag

Just bought an 06 S-Type V8 w/VDP package about a month ago, beautiful car, but yesterday morning when I started it, the audio system was buzzing really loud, I changed channels, I turned the audio off / on, I changed to cd, nothing stopped the buzzing. When I got to work I turned the car off and back on, Good as new, the sound was perfect.
This morning I tried to start the car and it cranked and cranked but wouldn't fire, luckily I have another vehicle so I drove it. This afternoon I come home and it fires on the first turn and starts right up.
I'm wondering if I may have some electrical issue? It was misty out this morning and I've noticed that when it's damp the car is harder to start, but before this morning it's always started on the second turn. Now, after saying that, it rained all day and the car was outside, but started just fine when I came home.
Thanks in advance for any similar issues that you guys may have had.

Sorry to hear this.

Do some searching on:

Water in trunk, old battery

I think you'll find mention of these two things cause strange and mysterious issues. Your battery is now 5+ years old unless it has been changed. If so just get a new one as these cars are sensitive. A new battery is $100 -> $130 so it won't break you.

I don't think it's what they said. I'm a firm believer in Gremlins. Good luck! I hope your issue resolves itself with minimal pain.

If I don't put my winter shoes on my jag and it's icy out, I'm all over it too!

Yup, Gremlins. They'll get you every time. Keep your S dry and don't feed it after midnight.
