Please check to see how much they want for the black plastic trim around the inside top of the door frame. (that covers the back of the mirror, and goes around the window). And if they have a set of front A Pillars in grey. I'm redesigning my stereo and haven't decided on tweeter placement yet, so It would be nice to have some parts to play with.

Thanks!

Oh and Bob, DID you play with hockey pucks this weekend? You know you want to live up to the name "Three fingered Bob!" LOL

Take care,

George

Sorry but no. I had to prep and load the parts for my race engine for a trip to the engine builder's shop Monday.

And now with my right arm in a sling because my thumb is swollen up like a tennis ball ...

I'll get to it at some point here. Even with a wood holder it's a pain to cut the rubber. Lots of gradual passes and a ton of very smelly rubber bits.

It's good to hear you've not had to have the arm amputated, yet!

Could a suitable piece of wood such as a cut down section of 4x4 post or something be substituted, possibly including spraying it with rubber undercoating or something afterwards, in order to create the same piece without all the frustration / danger of the hockey pucks??

Just food for thought.

Wood is not a bad idea but it needs to be strong and you have to cut the slot against the grain. Even so, what I found is that the sides of the stamped metal edge on the car are at differing levels. So ... the slotted hockey puck easily bends to accommodate this. Then the second puck underneath that makes it just the correct height to let the metal lifting cup on the jack clear everything. Pucks are cheap too!

It's just that my blood gauge is the same as the Jaguar's gas gauge.
