Jaguar Parts catalog
Hello could some one please tell me if there is a online parts catalog for the jaguar for my 2004 4.2 v8 s type
For example I own two bmws a v8 and a v12
For the bmws
There is a site called realome where you type in your vin number or the part number if you know it and it brings up everything for your car from engine to transmission to even rims
So I was wanting to know if there was a site for jaguar
Thanks

The official JLR Parts Catalogue (JEPC - Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalogue) is entirely online and accessed through Jaguar TOPIx which is the dealer portal to all Jaguar information. Anyone can open an account but it is expensive to use:
https://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topi...cle/lookupForm
The information provided by aftermarket parts specialists such as S N G Barratt and Terry's Jaguar Parts is taken from JEPC.
An alternative (which I use) is an offline copy of JEPC which can be found on the likes of eBay for download:

Here is a link to the official on-line jaguar parts catalogue for the S-type.
This lists all the part number changes, and those parts that can still be ordered through Jaguar.

Here is a link to the official Jaguar S-type accessories catalogue.
Some of these are still available from Jaguar, for example the boot mounted storage hammok that goes across the inside of the boot (XR828888) is still available from Jaguar for £6.33.

Please note that the 04 Model year S-types were all built in 2003. If you look at your vin mumber the MY number is the 8th from the end. (Prefix 10.)
The last number before the leter H in your vin will be either:
3H for 03 model year
4H for 04 model year
5H for 05 model year
H in prefix 11 is for Castle Bromwich S-TYPE 4.2V8
It is a good idea to add part of your vin number to your forum signature so we all know what model year car you have, it will help a lot with any questions you ask. See my signature below.
(Note that the 1 in prefix 11 is for Castle Bromwich S-TYPE 4.2V8 S/C, ie an supercharged type R.)
