Default Jaguar S Type 2000 3.0 V6

hey guys,
solved p0301 code by replacing coils and plugs. then came p0401 and p0420 which were side effect of p0301, So i installed brand new Cat converter $105 for the Cat and $125 for the labor, now p420 seems to left and the performance has improved a lot, But the P0401 code still comes back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Do i need to replace EGR???????

Thanks in advance!

Have you the work shop manual. I use the Programme JTIS which I got from the forum on an old 32 bit laptop. This will tell you how to test and diagnose the fault.

I have the PDF, the .exe doesn't work, may be cuz it's 64 bit, but before that it will ask me for second disk while installing it. So I guess, I don't have the complete package for the installation.

Bought it from amazon, Magnaflow 51105.
It's just the cat, not the whole assembly of exhaust system.

I did get it working in a 64 bit environment, I followed the instructions step by step but it was cludgy, and things change quickly in the windows world as we all know! lol. The disk issue was discussed.

Have to know your way around Dos command shell (at the time) to control some things. God know how someone actually rammed that program into a Win OS, hats off.
