Get the codes PDF from here or JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource

Use Search for the codes to see what others were advised or did.

You can also download the full official Jaguar workshop manual that will give you the pin point tests for the fault codes. Here is a link:

http://www.jagrepair.com/images/Auto...M-Workshop.pdf

P0300 is a missfire in several cylinders.
P030* is a missfire in cylinder No*.
P1316 is an emmisions warning because a missfire is detected.
P1111 just shows that the system check is complete. It does not indicate a fault.

I guess that the first thing to do is to make sure you are not out of fuel, the fuel gauge may not be working as it should!

Were you getting the same codes before charging the coils?

Were the codes cleared and then the car driven so we can tell if these are current or just old codes??
Do you actually have any problems or just these codes?

It is possible, and easy enough to rule out. Oil can collect in the spark plug wells.

Pull the suspect coils and see if they need cleaning. Use an aerosol electronic cleaner, not brake cleaner. Only in the worst cases would the coils need to be replaced.

If you do find oil but don’t have time to replace the offending gaskets right away, you can usually buy some time with a good cleaning. Unless you’ve got an absolute gusher of an oil leak (not likely), you’ll have plenty of time to order gaskets and plan ahead for the job.

Did you fit the correct NGK spark plugs and a good known make of coil pack? (ie not a cheap ones?)
