Jaguar s-type miss fire
Hi everyone can anyone help?
when my jag is left over night or for a few hours when i start it there is no issues until about half a mile down the road when it starts chugging or the best way to describe it is like you are driving along a road that has been laid in slabs that are raised up at a same distance so it sounds like a train going over the joins in the tracks. My rev counter fluctuates by about 0.5 revs up and down but if i put my foot down there is no issue but of course you can do this in town also if i take my foot of the pedal and going idol there is no fluctuation. After around 10miles it clears up and doesn't do it again the whole day. i have put in petrol treatment to clear the jets as advised by 1 garage but no difference. I have been to 2 different garages and the pop it on a computer and there is no problems registering.
Can anyone help as im going mad with this

Welcome to the forum Charles, don't forget to post an intro in the new members section.
I've moved your post to the S Type section, what year is the car and which engine?

Very common issue. Nothing to do with the engine.
