Jaguar S Type R | Foglight cover not clicking in
Hello,
I am currently facing a problem, my father a few weeks ago hit a curb with the front bumper, nothing much just a scratch, but since then I have bene trying to click back the left fog lamp
to no avail, it won’t simply click in place. I have trued eveeything I even waited for the weather to be a little bit warmer, can anyone give me a step by step on how to install foglights cover on a jaguar s type r without breaking them?
thanks in advance.

but what you can do is check the lamp on the other side to see what could be different

The best way to access the damage is to unbolt and drop the whole bumper bar cover as the x202 STR's fog lamps are attached from the rear.
But that's not a 5 minute job though so best to first remove the front portion of the bottom cover (splash guard) and have a look and see why the light has worked loose.
Screws and clips holding it from the rear would probably be rusty and need a change. Maybe go stainless steel screws.
