Jaguar S-Type R O2 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1Question
Hey guys!
A fault code for my O2 sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 1) came up. I cleared it and it still pops up after 200 miles or so.
I checked my fuses and etc, so I believe that replacing it will be the best route to go.
I looked at the passenger side and saw what I BELIEVE to be the O2 sensor, but I'm not too sure. I was wondering if anybody would graciously point out where the bank 1 sensor 1 is located? Thank you!

My next question is: I was wondering where/which to buy this specific plug and play one? I looked at the denso site and as I understand from searching on the forum, the upstream O2 sensor is different than the downstream.

I use the factory brand (Denso).
I find Amazon or Rockauto good. It would not hurt to call a few local places but stay with the Denso brand for less problems.
Since you are learning Jaguar you would be ahead to install the factory shop manual which Jaguar calls the JTIS. We have had some good work done by other forum members to get this installed as easy as possible.
Plus it's FREE!!
Details on Win7 64 bit new install method & new JTIS21 S-Type archive
