Default Jaguar S Type R. some tasteful changes? opinions please

I have been browsing the web and have come across some items I like the look of for my 2004 STR but I don't want want the car to be over the top and look tacky.

Clear reflectors
http://klearz.com/lens/jaguar/stype-markers-00-04.jpg
clear side indicators
http://www.adamesh.co.uk/jaguar-s-type-side-indicator-light-lenses-57-p.asp
some wing mirror covers carbon or chrome
http://www.adamesh.co.uk/jaguar-s-type-carbon-fibre-door-mirror-covers-models-after-2002-3489-p.asp
A SUPERCHARGED badge to show off lol
http://www.adamesh.co.uk/jaguar-supercharged-body-styling-badge-2475-p.asp
Door pillar chrome surround
http://www.adamesh.co.uk/jaguar-s-type-door-pillar-chromes-134-p.asp
and finally chrome door handles
http://www.adamesh.co.uk/jaguar-s-type-chrome-door-handle-cover-770-p.asp

I'm not saying I want to fit all the items above as I think it would be too much but if anyone has opinions of which of the items would complement the car nicely I would be greatful

Interesting - I didn't know anyone offered after market reflectors as everyone seems to DIY, albeit it for colour coding purposes. Shame they don't offer them for the facelift versions.

Chrome seems to polarise opinion - personally I don't like it, but some people add it everywhere they can

One of the best features of the STR is that there is no chrome trim less the leaper and the grill. Not sure why you would want to add any chrome??? +1 for debadging (leave the three R's) +1 for body colored/tinted side markers

i removed the Stype from the back,,,,,,,,,,painted the wheels and mirrors a different color.....i would say no no no to any chrome. especially door handles,,, you are not supposed to high-lite door handles, the only reason those are available is because they couldn't think of anything that was easier to swap out as an aftermarket part..... no chrome, chrome bad IMO

They are such carefully thought out beautiful designs there is little that can be done that will not detract from the balance offered by the original.

I would suggest living with it a while and changing that which bothers you. An S-Type R makes quite a statement as is and cheap add-ons often look like cheap add-ons.

This is from a guy that has owned two Jaguars with American engines which looked completely original from the outside.

Good luck in any case and I suggest keeping all original parts for resale.

all those things you want to add to me are so insignificant , that supercharged badge is very cheap looking, I know cause they are all over ebay and I bought one lol(better one out there), I will post pics of the subtle adds I have done to my str tomorrow

but everyone has different tastes, nothing is right, as long as you like it :-)

Not sure if I'm feeling any of those stick-on mods... Click the pic in my signature, check out some of the mild exterior mods I've done on my STR...
