Have any of you guys replaced your air filter with a high performance K & N unit or similar?
If so did you notice any difference in performance , bhp or fuel consumption ?
2001 3.0 V6 petrol

 

Gained 1-2 mpg in my 2.5 x type. Runs smoother too! Doesnt really do anything besides rev a little quicker with the clutch in. But being washable along justifies the cost if are keeping your car past 1 filter.

 

it slighly increased mine and made it slightly louder( very hard to tell the diff) but for the cost and the fact you never have to replace it makes it a big plus! if you can do the whole intake thats much better for it!

 

Did mine too, and it certainly didn't hurt it at all.

 

Me too! Slightly better milage and smoother idle. Plus it was the only one I could find for my car.
