My key fob had been ioperable for awhile now. I tried everything, new battery, checked its voltage, checked battery contact prongs, board contacts, etc, etc.
Well, long story short, I got in contact with fellow member abonano (Anthony) who is fairly close to me.
He replaced the four microswitches, and re programmed my fob with his IDS/WSS/VCM equipment, and got it working again!
Many thanks to Anthony for not only helping me out, but saving me alot of money versus going to a Jag dealer or indy shop!
...and thanks Anthony for helping me out in the pouring rain last night!
Its great to belong to this forum for the knowledge, and for members like abonano who are always willing to help fellow members out, and help save money in the process!
