Here's my new to me 03. I just ordered a new porter cable buffer with all of the accesories as the car is in need of some TLC. Plans include tinted windows, powdercoating the wheels and repainting the front valance as it's really chipped up.

Looking good, Mafioso! Mine came from Mina with black washers so it's not too obvious but like you I wish they came up with a better system!

Thanks
I will try to be more active.
Gotta say the forum is great and seems so much more interest in modding STRs in the US than here in the UK.
Sorting cross drilled rotors at the moment and an induction elbow then water injection

Rears done Fronts this weekend

Lower that and it will be even better, you need it with those bigger wheels.

Where did you get your rotors? I ordered some here in the states and they've been on back order for a month now, very frustrated.

Here are a few pics of the car after it was fully detailed. It's actually at the body shop right now having the front repainted.

Really nice STR Cross drilled the rotors myself (Friends got a motor engineering business) and had them cryo treated. Did the same on an Audi S4 with no problems. Fronts are fun as there are 31 vanes £1 being a prime number makes working out where to drill fun !! Couldnt find any cross drilled rotors for sale here in the UK. Got a price for AP two piece rotors for the front but came in at £850 a pair so will have to wait a while for those

Ugh that's expensive. I got a set of four that are cross drilled for $440 including shipping. That is if I ever actually get them.

Mafioso the black metal washers I got from Mina gallery for the lower mesh grill are starting to rust as I feared. Damm..I should have coated them with some sort of sealer first before installing them. I might later on find some Rubber washers that same size and use them instead, I highly advise anyone whose going to get the lower mesh grill from Mina galleries to do get a hold of Rubber washers instead of the supplied Mina gallery black colored metal washers which are Rust Magnetics!

So Mafioso when are you going to show me your new pic of the lower end of your STR without the Silver Washers, what did you use instead??

How much is that front respray costing you if you dont mind me asking?? I really want to get mine resprayed but my school has some killer curbs that you have to get really close too so you dont have your rear end hanging out and risk clipping it. So I am always scraping it but I do want to get it done in a year or so once I transfer. I may have to source a whole new bumper cause the mounts for the underbelly pan are gone its pretty much zip tied up now otherwise when you get on it the underbelly pan falls and starts scraping on the ground.

A little less than $600. I wouldn't have bothered normally, but the lower part is really chipped up and the clear coat is peeling in quite a few areas.
