Default looking for letter P

The S-TYPE label misses letter P on my 2005 2.0 Jag.
I have no idea where to look for it, and hope that it's not just the dealer.
Any clues?
Also, how do I glue it? Are there any special glues for doing that?

Check a salvage yard and/or ebay.

I would suggest double-sided tape from a body shop supply store

ebay has stype badges and autozone has letters that look pretty good you could make out s type, I was thinking about taking stype off and replacing it with chrome STR lol

Lol...... nice one John, it was only a matter of time I guess.

To the OP......These badges can sometimes be found on Ebay for much cheapness.

You can always try a salvage yard too.
These are only stick on badges using 3M type double sided tape

Personally for me.......they're not life changingly expensive from the dealer as far as I'm aware. I'd get one there and carefully remove the existing to replace with the new, ( job done ) and with a P thats level and square to the rest of the lettering.

Good luck

Here ya go.

The S Type badge is sold as a complete thingy, NOT individual letters.

Up to Vin M45254 = XR8008868
From Vin M45255 = XR8016807

The prices I came up with are about $29,95, cheap.

Try some of the Jag parts supplies supporting this site, or your nearest dealer.

Thanks guys!
I've contacted the junk yard, if not there - will order the original part.
But is this 3M type double sided tape not a joke? How many automatic washes will it sustain?

It will see you out plenty.

The same tape, also known as "glazing tape", holds the windows/glass in place on high rise buildings, mmmmm.

The surface it sticks to MUST be clean, NO polish, finger prints, whatever. I usually wipe the area with some Prepsol (wax and grease remover in some markets), and get it right the first time, there is NO relocating it once "contact" is made.

The part from the dealer "should" have the sticky stuff already applied, with a protective sheet on the surface to be attached to the car.

I took mine off, and I think it is in my tool box. When I get back home later today I will check.

PM me - I believe I have the one you need (brand new) if your interested and yes... as Grant pointed out - the emblem does have the adhesive tape already applied for installation.

Looks like your car has a "Stye" You should clean the affected area with tap water or with a mild, nonirritating soap or shampoo (such as baby shampoo) to help clean crusted discharge before putting P on it. If it persists for more than a couple days perhaps you should see a doctor.
