Default Looking for part - Dog ate a few things

Our puppy decided to eat the shifter knob, the cup holder and the small plate that has P R N D 4 3 2 1 on it.

I have found the shifter knob and the cup holder, but I am not sure what to search for on the Shifter name plate.

Does anyone have any ideas on what that part may be called or a part number I can look up and get ordered.

Well it will be way too expensive to buy any of that new. There are tons of early S Types being parted out on EBay. The S Type sold well in the first few years (1999-2002) so there is a good selection of used parts.

Ah yes! That good old dealer price. I do like the fact that Jaguar keeps their parts available. Maybe the high prices allow for that?

There is a big difference between what I can get from Ford for my 2003 Lincoln LS and what I can get from Jaguar for my 2005 STR.

The new LS parts are just disappearing and with no other Ford product built on the DEW platform I am only left with used for many things.

I doubt you can find just the shift indicator plate by itself. You might have to get another shifter which if the price is right is how I would try to fix it. The dog probably mauled some of the other plastic around the shifter too so it might be easier to just replace the whole thing.

Don’t forget when Jaguar updated the S Type they went from a 5 speed Ford transmission to a 6 speed ZF transmission. So you must get the early car part.
