Default Loosing power when driving, but ok after stop, help?!

Hey guys, had a strange experience today, went to start the cat up today and began driving and all of a sudden it began to loose power. I tried to press the acceleration, but nothing. The car did not turn off. It felt like as if I were pressing the brakes, but I was not. As soon as the speedometer came back down to 0, I would press the gas and it would drive fine, and then loose speed again after a minute or so. I parked the car and started her up after about a hour or so took it for another drive and everything was fine. Anyone know where to begin looking? I have only 1 code in my car and its the P0430 Cat converter, but I have a local exhaust shop inspect them and they said they were reading fine in temperature. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it. Thanks You!

Check your coils for intermitient misfiring - also check the throttle body plate for dirt or carbon build up - on the 3.0 V6 you could possibly have a vacuum leak, especially with that brake booster you had recently replaced - ensure all the vacuum hoses/lines were reinstalled correclty. Also leaking IMT O-Rings come to mind as well...

hey thanks for that. I didnt have the booster done yet, I am in a few weeks just a bit tight on money right now. Do you think the actual booster would cause this?

Being newish to this section, my thoughts are a blocking fuel filter. They do give a very similar symptom.

hey francis, thumbs up on the fuel filter. I changed it and now the car drives smooth no engine loss, and no shake on startup. lets just hope thats what it was.
