Default Love my Jag... But Help!!

I just bought a 2000 S Type- (white) post-divorce as my "rebound". I absolutely love and have begun to save for another. I do have one question: the maple pieces on the dash and around gear shifter have cracked- not really noticable until sun hits it. Are these pieces easy replace? I found some on ebay... Wondering if would have a hard time replacing??

Don't toss 'em in the rubbish bin if you do swap 'em out. I believe it is most common for the finish to crack, rather than the wood itself....who knows? You may opt to take up woodworking or something? Or...they may fetch some beer-money on ebay from someone who is comfortable with refinishing....btw Welcome to the forum! Great bunch here to share info and knowledge.

Something similar was covered before so try Search
(maybe on terms like wood or even maple)

You may struggle to match what you have but sounds worth a try.

Jusyt a thought: you probably want to click Search then choose Advanced Search because then you can put in keywords and restrict the search just to this forum.

The cracking is just the clear coat. You can wet sand the pieces down until the cracks are out and reclear them. Much cheaper and much more rewarding.
