Default Low Dust Brakes

I finally got tired of cleaning my wheels due excessive brake dust.I decided to go with Akebono ceramic pads and ATE grooved rear rotors.Because my front rotors (by Jaguar) were in good condition I decide too stick with them for now.
No problems installing them.I have attached some pics for anyone interested.

The new rotors look great. Let us know how you make out with the dust problem.

I fitted EBC redstuff pads to mine, no more dust and brakes far better.

Well I have about 400 miles on the new brakes.I am really happy with them--quiet clean and effective. The initial bite is a little less than standard pads, but on full brake I cannot feel any differencein stopping power.

These pads do produce a little dust, but it mostly blows away and what does not is light coloured.End result is my wheels look clean.

I should note that the grooved disc do not produce any more noise than regular rotors.

Glad it's working for you. I prefer semi-metallic brake pads for the reason you mentioned - a quicker bite (which can make a difference in close-call situations). For those who want to stick with semi-metallic pads, the best bang-for-the-buck I've found are the Wagner ThermoQuiet pads. I have them on my Ram truck, our S-Type, and I already purchased a set for my wife's XK8 for when it needs new pads later this year. Tomb-quiet, long-lasting, and much less dust compared to the OEM pads....
