Good Point about changing fluid and filter. Not everyone but several people have had the lurch reduced or eliminated after a fluid and filter change. My 2005 STR has a very minor lurch every once and awhile. With 64K miles I will be changing fluid in the next year and hope it will get rid of it for good!!

A late follow-up due to a recent posting. J004 is an emissions-related recall (as the Technical Bulletin states). The PCM (ECM) is reflashed. For some VIN ranges (S-Type N05049-N43174) it also involves the TCM.
