Lightbulb Making Headlight adjusters

I am going to make my own Headlight adjusters.
Mine were fine till I was a little too rough replacing my High Beam bulbs.
I have a 2000 S-type w/ Halogen lights but I bought some newer angel eye xenon headlights on E-bay. I bought the newer ones cheap because the adjuster was broken there also. If they do not fit my car I will resell them after they are repaired.

My plan was to mill them from aluminum as I have seen this dome for other models (i.e.: BMW) After ordering the materials the thought occurred to me that the adjusting screw is not aluminum and there would most likely be a galvanic reaction.

My question s would be:

1-How do other manufacturers get arround this problem, or do they?

2-Could I use a dielectric compound with any success?

3-What about a threaded plastic (nylon) insert that could be glued into the aluminum that would accept the steel screw?

I only have the center plastic adjuster for the xenon 2003?
as a prototype but I would make extras because I have heard this is a common problem.

Joe
