MIL is on .......
Great forum all, so far loving it, been reading a lot and have learned a lot too.
Currently bought a 2003 Gold Jag S-Type 3.0 with 115000 miles for 2500, it runs
and drives nice, however it does need some work to be in top shaped.
MIL is on with 1532,1647,1316,1549 and also shows misfires on cyl 1,2,3,4,5,6 which is weird cause it does run i use it everyday, but the symptoms are when i start the car Cold in the morning, while idling, it starts to shake and hesitate after its hot it runs beautiful.
any help or ideas or a place you can point me in, would be appreciated

First thing is to look up all the codes. Now, each must have a letter at the front so be sure to include it or you'll be very lost - same as we are as you left them out.
The codes PDF is in the stickies and also in JTIS, both free on here.
If they're all P codes then you have IMT faults and an O2 sensor fault so misfires are inevitable until those are fixed. See HowTos / JTIS.

You might want to add valve cover gaskets to your list as well. For the little time that it takes to install them and spark plug well gaskets (come in same kit if you go aftermarket like FelPro) you'll thank yourself down the road.
Be careful with all the plastic vacuum lines as they tend to get (be) very brittle in this stage of their life span.
This may or may not help you out as well:

Thanks jumping, first time I fill it up was 93octane gas but wife was using the car and she was using regular, and I thought that may be causing issues as well. Haven done anything yet as I am waiting on the valve cover gaskets so probably next week ill start working on that. Thanks everybody so far this forum has been very helpful

So just finish putting everything back together. Valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, upper lower intake gasket, water pump, serpentine belt and oil changed.
heres what I found: spark plugs where original and they were horribly corroded, also lots of oil inside there. Intake air control valve sensor plug disconnected, brake booster vacuum line broken, my oh my what a job but manage to do everything on one day. Spent no more than 200 on parts and saved a couple of 100s on labor.
A good six pack of cold beers, father on the side, and job complete lol. No leaks, even the MIL hasnt come on yet.
lets see whats next
Looking forward from now on to fix up everything that happens.
