Her Majesty regrets to inform that it ain't her damn fault that you guys in the US still use antiquated terms of measure and have outdated bumper standards.

Even the UK ditched Fahrenheit a long time ago.

You can switch to US English if you want it to display 'trunk' instead of 'boot'. Instructions are in the owners manual. My car was set to the french language display when I bought it and had unilingual french language child seat warning stickers of the reverse side of each sun visor. Jaguar part # 2R83-F00014-AA if somebody wants to look it up. I presume this feature would be unique to the country of Queerbec.

The idea that 'all N. Am cars have the identical specification' is incorrect.

As a not-too-quick-witted former work colleague once said, 'Oh- they don't have a 4th of July in England'. My reply of 'What do they do- jump straight from the 3rd to the 5th? was met with a blank stare.

When I brought my C230 to Canada from California, I took it to Mercedes and they wanted to charge me $5,000 to make it legal with the DOT.

Bumpers, lights and seatbelts had to be changed.

Back on topic (ahem cough cough) . For those who are somewhat **** about accuracy in mpg (and other) readings ...try to use the same gas pump for both fill ups to eliminate any possible variables in pump readings. All other factors should be the same as much as possible.
