misfire
Hi, just collected car from my friend after a service, its had new plugs and new gaskets for the inlet manifold after fitting, it still has a misfire could be one or two cylinders, seems most prominent on tick over, but is still there at 2000 rpm, it may well be there all the time as it could be masked by the other firing cylinders.
the car has been stood over 2 years in a garage with a little amount of petrol in the tank. I think it could be bad coil packs or a blocked injector, any help would be appreciated. thank you.

One way to narrow it down would to be to unplug the electrical connector at each coil pack one at a time while the engine is running and see if the engine responds (rpms drop). If you unplug one and the engine does not respond, then that cylinder is misfiring. Once you have it narrowed down to what cylinder(s) is having an issue, then you can swap coil packs, injectors, etc. to see what exactly is causing the problem.
