misfire problem 4.0 V8

its a v8 4.0 S-Type.
ok, little history, I used to have a misfire on number 3 and 8, that was fixed by changing all the spark-pluggs and changing 2 coils.
now I have a misfire on 2 and it happens when your going between 45 mph and 55. when its idling its fine or above 55 its fine, its always after 45mph![Icon Werd](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_werd.gif)

Jaguar struggled with S-Type coil suppliers in the early years (1999-2002). Several different designs were tried, and the coils were somewhat better in the 2003-2004 models. By the 2005 models, the coils were apparently up to average industry standards. Still not great, but at least better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick....
