Switched out all plugs when I got p0301 and boots.
Still got it after switching plugs so I switched out the #1 coil.
Now I'm getting p0420 and it runs rough at stop lights and while idling.
Could the p0420 be caused by the cam/valve cover gaskets?
I also haven't checked if the breather hoses have collapsed under neath the lower intake.
Does anyone have a list of all the faulty hoses, gaskets, and sensors that are known to go bad on these 2000-2001 s types. I'd like to get all the well known problems out of the way first.
I'm pretty sure this car never had the recalls fixed because I had my left lower ball joint snap on me.
